William Warke

William "Bill" Warke, 82, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Chicago, IL passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. He was the son of Henry and Lorraine Warke, born April 16, 1932 in Chicago, IL. Bill served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. He was a loving husband and awesome Dad. Bill enjoyed reading, puzzles and taking cruises with his wife. Bill will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years, Jane; children, Steven, Janie, William, Jr., Karen; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard and grandson, Daniel. A private burial will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to charity of your choice.
