William T. Miller, Sr.

William T. Miller, Sr., 69, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away March 27, 2016. He was the son of William L. and Gladys Miller, born November 8, 1946 in Covington, KY. William grew up in Cincinnati, OH and then moved to Louisville, KY for most of his adult life. He was a US Navy veteran and after being honorable discharge from the service, he began driving semi trucks. William spent many years as a car salesman/manager prior to retiring and moving to Punta Gorda, FL in 2008. He will be best remembered for his love all things motorcycle related, especially riding his "Scooter." William was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite and the Shriners. William will be greatly missed by his children, William T. (Sharon) Miller, Jr., Melissa A. Miller and Amy L. Head; grandchildren, Jesseica M. Melton, Maddison N. Miller, Auston T. Miller, Peyton R. Miller, Tisha M. Owens and Sara M. Head; great-grandchildren, Maryssa L. Owens, Jadaen T. Owens, Lillian. N. Melton; sisters, Kay (Gerry) Kailholz and Linda (Bud) Rader and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph "Bert" Cordell. A private service will be held.
