William Leroy Capra

William Leroy Capra, 72, of Lake Suzy passed away August 9, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 31, 1934 in Minneapolis, MN to Louis and Louise (Rannalo) Capra. William served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post. He was an avid golfer. William will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Christine Iantosca Capra; daughter Theresa (Robert) Landry of Somerville, MA; son William (Laurie) of Salem, MA; grandchildren Kelley and Kayla Landry and Cristina and Nicholas Capra; brothers Ted (Nan), Richard (Kathy) and Gerald; brother-in-law Joseph Iantosca, Larry (Grace) Lombard and Anthony (Kay) Iantosca; along with many nieces and nephews. A memorial service in celebration of William’s life will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 992 Tamiami Trail, Unit C-2, Port Charlotte, FL 33953.
