William K. Leake

William K. Leake, 89, of Punta Gorda, FL formerly of Decatur, IL passed away November 15, 2015. He was the son of Fredric and Velma Leake, born February 15, 1926 in Decatur, IL. William served in the US Army during WWII. He was an accountant for Mueller fire hydrant manufacturer before retiring. William was a former member of the Moose Lodge and the Elks Club. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling with friends and was an avid golfer. William will be greatly missed by his wife Phyllis; sister in laws, Mary Wright and Rosemary Leake; niece, Robyn (Rick) Chizmark; nephews, David Leake and Gary (Lisa) Leake; step-daughter, Allison Steinbarger; step-grandchildren, Amanda, Christopher and Kaylin; step-great-grandchildren, Oliva, Benjamin and Marley. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Dori Leake; and his brothers, Harold and Bob, who died in 2015 and Gene who died in WWII. No service is planned at this time.
