William J.R. Guttendorf, Jr.

William 'J.R.' Guttendorf, Jr., 48, of Gulf Cove passed away November 26, 2005. He was born December 31, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA to William Guttendorf and LaVerne Persinger. JR moved from Pittsburgh to Gulf Cove in 1980. He worked for Lemon Bay Truss as a designer for twenty-three years. He had a CB handle and was known as 'Secret Agent Man, 007'. JR was of the Catholic faith. He will be greatly missed by his significant other Pam Stewart; father William and Annette Guttendorf, Sr. from Bradenton, FL; mother LaVerne and Richard Persinger from Pocono Mt., PA; son William P III of Grove City, FL; brother Jimmy (Denise) of Delaware, Ohio; sisters Lynn M. Heyl of North Hills, PA and Sandra (Randy) Guttendorf Goucher of Rotunda West, FL. A memorial service in celebration of JR's life will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 29 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bob Carlson fficiating.
