William Heier

William Heier, 77, of Punta Gorda formerly of Ventnor Heights, New Jersey passed away September 20, 2009. He was the son of Irving and Regina (Gillis) Heier, born June 15, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York. William served in the US Navy and was a retired mechanical engineer. He was a member of the Punta Gorda Elks and enjoyed traveling and boating. William will be greatly missed by his companion, Denyse Sneddon of Punta Gorda; daughters, Susan Kaplan and Elaine Katz both of Atlanta, GA; son, Stanley Heier of Williamstown, NJ; brother, Nate Heier of Ventnor, NJ; sister, Pearl Staze of Philadelphia, PA and 6 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Montegoire Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
