Wayne H Redd

Wayne H. Redd, 91, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Monday, June 25, 2012. He was born August 22, 1920 in Lancaster, OH to Virgil and Hazel (Street) Redd. Wayne served in the US Air Force during WWII. He worked as a Principal in the Lancaster School System before retiring. He was a member of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, Punta Gorda, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lancaster, OH, All Masonic Organizations, American Legion and Eastern Star. Wayne will be greatly missed by his wife of 70 years, Jo; son, Larry Joe (Pamela) Redd of Lancaster, OH; grandson, Tony (Heidi) Redd of Lancaster, OH and Aaron (Tami) Redd of Oklahoma; twin great-grandsons, Christopher and Patrick; great-granddaughter, Katie Redd; great-great granddaughter, Grace Redd; sister-in-laws; Mignon Spitler and Yvonne Ruff and many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marcelette Yantes. A service will be held at a later date.
