Walter E. Parady, 99 of Punta Gorda, FL. passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. He was born October 13, 1919, in Old Town, ME. to Norbert and Marie Parady. He passed peacefully at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda, where he received wonderful care.
Walter retired to Florida in 2017, formerly of Liberty, ME since 1955. He enjoyed a long career of 67 plus years with H.E. Sargent Incorporated in Stillwater, ME. He and his wife, Corinne, built 8 homes over their lifetime together from the mountains of Maine to the ocean along the coast. He treasured boating along the waters of their lake home, spending time with family and enjoying a nice cold Budweiser. Walter also loved traveling. He visited every state in the U.S. and traveled overseas, to include skiing the slopes in Europe.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years, Corinne; son Michael E. Parady; Walter's daughter Jean Kelliher (Corinne's special daughter); nephews Garrett Hodgdon and Rodney Morin; his many nieces and cousins; grandsons Kevin Kelliher, James Kelliher, and Michael Christopher Parady; and 4 great-grandchildren.
