Waino J Kujala

Waino J. Kujala, 86, of Port Charlotte, formerly of Hubbardston, MA, U.S. Army Vet passed away on May 18, 2014. Waino graduated from Athol High School in 1945. He retired in 1987 after serving for many years as vice-president of the former Gardner Trust Company. He was also a member of the Hubbardston Industrial Commission and many other local organizations. Waino was an avid golfer and was a member of the Port Charlotte Golf Club and Petersham Country Club. He enjoyed spending his summers at Queen Lake in Phillipston, MA with his family. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Waino will be greatly missed by his wife of 65 years, Mary L. (Lopane); children, Wayne (Sharon) Kujala of Uxbridge, MA, Rocky (Marilyn) Kujala of Mansfield, MA, Cynthia (Joseph) Rahmberg of Gardner, MA, and Raymond (Susan Skehan) Kujala of Hubbardston, MA; grandchildren, Keith, Julianne, Jonathan, Thomas, Jennifer, Joshua, Melissa, and Nicole; and 5 great-grandchildren.
