Virginia L. Peak

Virginia L. Peak, 82, of Punta Gorda, Fl., passed away on October 29, 2011 She was born on October 31, 1928 in Covington, Kentucky to Lawrence & Marie Elliott. Virginia & her husband Jim lived in Vienna Virginia for 15 years where she was the office manager for an Ophthalmologist before moving to Punta Gorda Florida in 1986. Virginia was an active member in the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church and loved to sing in the choir. She belonged to several Bridge clubs and enjoyed learning new things and making new friends. Virginia will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 60 years, James R. Peak; sisters, Betty Rising & Janet Geiger; sons, Jim Peak Jr., Mike Peak and Doug Peak; grandchildren, Jennifer, Danielle, Carly, Michael Jr., Emily and Amanda Peak; great- grandchild, Mia Grace along with many friends. A service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Burnt Store Presbyterian Church.
