Vicki M. Smalley

Vicki M. Smalley, 44, of Port Charlotte passed away July 3, 2006. She was born July 20, 1961 in Corunna, MI, the daughter of Russell and Carol (Wing) Metz. Vicki came to Port Charlotte in 1982 from Corunna and has been the office manager at UPS in Port Charlotte for 18 years. She will be remembered as a loving mother who took great joy in caring for her family, and as a great friend who gladly helped anyone who needed her help. Vicki will be greatly missed by her husband of 21 years, Jody; daughter, Bethani; son, Kyle; mother, Carol Hauri of Michigan; sisters, Rusty Barrett, Debbie DeBoard, Julie Weaver, Yvonne Brown, and Rebeka Metz, all of Michigan; and brothers, Alan Metz, Mike Brayshaw and David Metz, all of Michigan, and Rocky Hauri and Mickey Hauri, both of Port Charlotte. A memorial service celebrating Vicki’s life will be Thurs, July 6 at 7:00 pm at Gilchrist Park Pavilion #1 with Rev. Dale Roberts officiating. The family requests those attending to dress casually.
