Vernon Jimerson

Vernon Jimerson, 86, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on September 1, 2020. He was born on December 29, 1933, to Clinton and Cynthia Jimerson in Elko, NY. 

Vernon honorably served in the Army as a Paratrooper during the Cold War. He moved to Port Charlotte in 2002 from Salamara, NY.  Vernon enjoyed listening to classical and country music and adored animals.  He was of the Protestant faith, holding a deep love of God, making sure to pray every night.


Vernon will be deeply missed by his wife Nancy; daughter Ginger Lee Mead (Wayne); brother Richard Carpenter; and his grandson Hunter.
