Vera J. Hart

Vera J. Hart, 84, of Tifton, GA passed away on October 17, 2019. She was born on November 12, 1934, to Eunice Truelove in Durham, NC.
Vera worked as a waitress, nursing assistant, cable splicer, and managed a Rest Home prior to retiring and relocating to Port Charlotte from North Carolina in 2000. She became a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Punta Gorda and was known as the caretaker of all, always putting her family first and making sure everyone had what they needed. Vera was a kind-hearted individual with a zest for life, seeing the good in every moment. She was often found in the kitchen cooking or making her biscuits that only she could make taste so good. Vera was a loving mom, wife, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt and niece. She will forever be missed for her loving heart and endless smile.

Vera will be deeply missed by her children, daughters Carolyn (Johnny) Sturdivant, Wanda Rogers and Sheila Lecroy; sons Walter Neil (Donna) Hart, Carl (Christina) Hart Jr. and Brian (Judy) Hart; brother Wayne Horne; sisters Willie Mae Middlebrook and Sheila Wilder; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years Carl.
