Toni M. David

Toni Marie David, née Bertram, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, May 23, 2022, in Cape Coral, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer.

Toni was born August 3, 1984, in Shelby Ohio to Edward and Linda (Winck) Bertram.

Toni is survived by her husband, Shawn David, her daughter, Aria Marie McMullen, Cape Coral; and stepson Zach David, St. Louis, Missouri.

In addition, Toni is survived by parents, Linda (Fred) Roscoe, Mansfield, and Edward (Kathie) Bertram, Waverly, OH.
Siblings, Ashley (Mike) Feeney, Dublin OH; Ed (Lenora) Bertram, Holly Springs NC; Shaun Bertram Alamogordo NM; Michael (Ann) Bertram, Scranton, PA; Matthew (Abby) Roscoe, and Tracy Roscoe, Wooster. Parents in law Donna & George Jamiel, Dublin, OH; Brothers in law, Chris Jamiel, Cape Coral FL; George (Erin) Jamiel; John (Natalie) Jamiel; Joe (Britt) Jamiel all of Ohio; and 23 nieces & nephews. Aunts, Peggy Case, New London; Judy (Gary) Owens, Akron; uncle, Mark (Tami) Bertram, Uniontown, OH; as well as numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by Grandparents Elton & Helen Winck, and Harold & Frances Bertram.

Toni graduated from Shelby High School in 2002, where she made many lifelong friends. She attended The Ohio State University, later graduating from North Central State with a nursing degree. She worked for many years at McMullen Assisted Living in Loudonville as nurse manager for the facility.

Toni moved to Florida in 2020 when she married the love of her life, Shawn. Although her illness continued to progress, she started every morning out on the dock with a huge mug of coffee and proceeded to count her blessings. She cherished her love with Shawn and was blessed by her daughter, Aria. She absolutely loved living in Florida. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she was the best friend anyone could ever have. She had a special bond with her "crew" (you know who you are) that lasted over 25 years. Toni continued to add more friends into her circle throughout her life, always the one to make everyone feel included. She was a hula hoop enthusiast, making custom hoops for her family and friends as well as teaching everyone she knew how to hula hoop.

Please join us on August 6th at the Hub in Crestline, OH to celebrate the wonderful life of Toni Marie David. There will be a service at 11 am, followed by a light lunch and social time. There will be memory cards to fill out and put into a book to give to her daughter, Aria at her graduation.
