Thomas Hubert Vigeant, 59 of Port Charlotte passed away August 16, 2012. He was the son of Clarence H and Mary (Getman) Vigeant, born February 24, 1953 in Metropolis, IL. Tom served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an architectural designer and also worked for E. B. Holley as a surveyor. Tom moved to Port Charlotte in 1997 from Smithfield, VA and was a member of Genesis Christian Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed playing lead guitar in the worship band. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and hunting. Tom will be greatly missed by his wife of 27 years, Debra; son, Daniel (Cheric) Vigeant of Scottsdale, AZ; grandson, Caleb Vigeant of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Deborah Manley of Monticello, NY; mother-in-law, Josephine Firriolo of Port Charlotte; brother-in-law, John Fandozzi of Port Charlotte; sister-in-law, Barbara Fandozzi of Wichita, KS; niece, Erika Fandozzi of Port Charlotte; and nephews, John C Fandozzzi of Port Charlotte, David Rosa of Monticello, NY, Joseph Fandozzi of Wichita, KS, and Nickolas Fandozzi in Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, August 20, 2012 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. The service in celebration of Tom's life will be at 10:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, 1144 Veronica St., Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
