Thomas W. Vennaro, 80, of Port Charlotte passed away Wed. October 24, 2012. He was the son of Harry and Katherine (nee Wood) Bell, born October 13, 1932 in Lowell, MA. Thomas served in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division as Master Sergeant during the Korean War. He was a bus driver in Manhattan for 25 years with the New York City Transit and retired in 1982. Thomas moved to this area from Contoocook, NH in Sept 1998. He was a member of the US Parachute Association. He was very active and enjoyed sky driving up to his 75th birthday. Thomas will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and generosity. Thomas will be greatly missed by his wife, Rosalie; step-daughter, Kimberly and John Izad; step-son Gene Mayo; sister, Sandra Nadeau and step-granddaughter, Julia Izad. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Katherine Bell and niece, Tracy Fellows. No service is planned at this time. Inurnment will be in Lowell, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Welfare League of Port Charlotte. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
