Thomas R. Hunt

Thomas R. Hunt, 63, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on November 14, 2021. He was born on February 10, 1958, to Kenneth and Sandra Hunt in Anderson, Indiana. Thomas moved to Port Charlotte in 2001. He was the Owner of TJA Transport and part-time CPA at Jack Lee Consulting. Thomas was a member of The Elks in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Tom loved the sunshine and warm weather. He enjoyed puttering in the yard, his garden, and with his flowers. He always had a new project going on at the house and was always bringing new plants home. He loved spending time with his family at the beach, in the beautiful yard he established alongside his wife and daughter, or inside watching sports. He was an intelligent man as well as a handyman, always being someone you could go to for anything and someone you could rely on.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his wife of 8 years, Jean Hunt; daughter, Ava Hunt; son, Mitchell Hunt; sister, Terri Hunt; and his grandchildren Aiden and Asher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Diana Hunt, Sandra Cline; his brother, Kenneth Jr.; and his sister, Molly Bewley.
