Thomas R. Cargill, 75, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Friday, July 20, 2012. He was the son of Frank and Frances (Nosal) Cargill, born on March 28, 1937 in Bayonne, New Jersey. Tom served in the US Army 82nd Air borne during the Korean War. He love and served the Lord with all his heart and demonstrated that through his work as a Chaplain included prison ministries at Charlotte Correction Facility and all over the world. He was a member of Christian Motorcycle Association. Tom will be greatly missed by his wife of 36 years, Marie; sons, Tommy Cargill, Sr. and Brian Cargill; brother, Frank Cargill; stepsons, Ron Sloane, Michael Sloane, Louis Sloane and Douglas Sloane; grandson, Tommy, Jr; granddaughters, Alexis and Sarah and step-grandchildren, Kevin, Stephanie, Nicole, Kelsey, Edward and Melissa. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Cargill and step-son, Edward Sloane. A private service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Salvation Army.
