Thomas J. Lyons, 82, of Punta Gorda passed away July 1, 2006. He was born December 1, 1923 in Arcola, IL, the son of Michael and Ellen (Conley) Lyons. Tom served in the US Army during WWII. He was a National Account Sales Manager for a cable and fiberoptic company for many years before as well as an entrepreneur who started many diverse and successful business ventures. He was first an active member of Punta Gorda Country Club and later joined Twin Isles Country Club and Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club.
