“Whereas God created the sun and stars and all the light that we see and feel; Tom is now a part of that light, shining in our windows in the morning hours, warming our face and hearts and as we look to the sky, and winking playfully from heaven at night. He is a part of God’s infinity, waiting timelessly and joyfully for us to join him.” Thomas George Price, Jr. (TG) was the son of the late Thomas George Price, Sr. and Flossie (Bridges) Price, born May 22, 1934 in Rio, Wisconsin. Tom graduated from Rio High School in Rio, Wisconsin in 1952. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1955 and served honorably for four years as a ‘Submariner’ on the USS Guavina (AGSS 362) and the USS Archerfish (AGSS 311) as an Engineman 2nd Class. He was stationed in Key West, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina. He owned and operated Tom’s Pure Oil in Madison, Wisconsin for several years before moving to Port Charlotte, Florida where he became a contractor; owning and operating T&M Home Repair. Tom passed away after a long fight with cancer on April 30, 2007. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Price; daughters Deborah (Deb) Dixon, Kelly Bean, Robin Rostetter and Anna (Tim) Thompson; son Darren W. Price ( Debbie), Kevin (Carolyn) Rostetter and Jack (Bobbie) Rostetter and 18 grand-children and two great-grandchild. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, brother M. Cleighton (Sandra) Price, brother Wayne B (Carol). Price, sister Frances Claire (Clayton) Felland, and sister Wanda J. (Milan) Severson.
