Thomas F. Sullivan

June 29, 1948 — September 23, 2020

Tom (Biggie) Sullivan born on June 29, 1948, a graduate of Charlestown High, class of 1965 grew up in Charlestown (forever Townie) and later raised his family in East Boston followed by a happy Florida retirement entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Tom with his notable easygoing demeanor was combating Esophageal Cancer that was complicated by recent exposure to Covid 19.     

Tom, married the love of his life and true soul mate Marie Raphanella of East Boston in 1982, they raised two sons, Kenneth and Kris, and very much enjoyed their daughter-in-law Deanna with grandchildren, Cody, Zachary, Alexandra, and Jakob. Tom retired from Teamsters Local 25 in June of 2009 then made home in Punta Gorda where they enjoyed their daily (dedicated) walks and other activities with their old and new friends.      

Tom the son of the late Joseph and Mary (May Gordon) Sullivan of Mead St with brother’s Joe, Jim, Harold, and sister, Mary will always be thought of and referred to the easygoing brother that would always answer “whatever”.      

Marie and the entire family would love to welcome Tom’s friends and family to a “Celebration of Life” during Tom’s birthday week of June 29th, 2021 on a Boston Harbor Charter boat cruise while his ashes are reunited with a place Tom called home.
