Thomas Conti

Thomas Michael "Tom" Conti, 73, of Punta Gorda passed away peacefully January 22, 2012. He was the son of Joseph B. and Satie Ann (Turcott) Conti, born May 26, 1938 in Petoskey, Michigan. Tom was an active member of San Antonio Catholic Church, singing in the choir and playing handbells; he was a member of Knights of Columbus. Tom loved to spread cheer by playing Santa each year. He worked for Firestone in Arcadia, Do All Rental, and, most recently, Wal Mart on Kings Highway. Tom will be remembered for his warm smile, kindness, friendliness, and his faithfulness to God. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. Tom will be greatly missed by is wife of 50 years, Jeanne; daughter, Micki Conti; son, Bryon Conti; brothers, Bill (Judy), Pat (Lanetta), Peter, Tim (Amanda), and John (Kim); sisters. Susie (Lorin), Mary Colleen (Jim), and Tara (Don); several nieces and nephews; and many friends. A memorial service in celebration of Tom's life will be on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at San Antonio Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society's Benjamin Mendick Hope Lodge, 12810 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.
