Theodore L. Brozanski, Sr., 78, of Port Charlotte passed away on January 25, 2006. He was born January 13, 1928 in Colonia, New Jersey, the son of Roza and Julius Brozanski. Ted worked for Reo Contracting in New Jersey, and then owned his own excavating business, Brozanski, Inc. After retiring from his excavating business, he moved to Port Charlotte in 1974 and worked for many years at Stan’s Septic Service, Taylor Septic Service, and with his son at Kevin Brozanski Septic Tank Service. Ted enjoyed fishing in the waters of Charlotte Harbor, and growing pineapples. Ted will be greatly missed by his daughter; Lorrie A. (Anthony G.) Smith; sons, Theodore L. (Margie) Brozanski, Jr. and Kevin H. (Gail M.) Brozanski; sisters, Virginia Kozlowski and Sophie Gavlik; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many friends and family members in New Jersey and Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Mildred; his parents; brothers, Edward Brozanski, Chester Brozanski, Henry Brozanski, and Albert Brozanski; and sisters, Lillion Dixon and Edith Zellner. The service in celebration of Ted’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
