Theodora Turner

April 4, 1927 — April 15, 2017

Theodora "Tedi" Turner was the only child of Drs. Paul and Theodora Schreiter. She was born April 4, 1927 in Bristol, CT. Tedi attended Bristol High School and graduated from Pine Manor Junior College in Wellesly, MA. She attended the National College of Drugless Physicians in Chicago, IL and graduated with degrees of Doctor of Chiropractic and Doctor of Naturopathy. She assisted her husband Dale in their practice in Harford, CT, Glastonbury, CT and Punta Gorda, FL. Tedi and her husband moved to Punta Gorda in 1980. She enjoyed traveling, boating, flying, motorcycling and playing mahjong. She was an amazing woman who will be remembered for her loving, kind and gentle spirit. Tedi passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 90 and will be greatly missed by her husband of 67 years, Dale; daughter, Gail (David) Heveron; and her many beloved friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am, Saturday April 22, 2017 at Twin Isles County Club, 301Madrid Blvd, Punta Gorda. Memorial donations may be made to in her memory and for her love for birds to Peace River Wildlife Center, 3400 Ponce de Leon Parkway, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 or Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 565, 2900 Airport Road Box 19A, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
