Terry L. Rowe

Terry L Rowe, 74, passed away on August 28, 2018 after a year-long struggle with cancer. He was the son of Kenneth and Dorothy Rowe (both deceased) of Millersburg, PA and was born on August 8, 1944. Terry grew up in Millersburg, and served his country in the Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He held an Associate degree from Harrisburg Area Community College in Architectural Drafting. Terrys company, T.L. Rowe Construction, was his pride and joy. Terry was Past Commodore of the Watkins Glen Yacht Club, NY and made many boat trips to Canada as well as the Annapolis areas. Terry loved to hunt and did so in Alaska, Canada, Texas, and Pennsylvania; he fished with friends off Marco Island. Terry and Janet relocated to Punta Gorda, FL in 2004. He was a member of Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association and assisted with Neighborhood Marine Watch. He was a member of the Punta Gorda Elks, and he loved to play euchre. Terry was a member of the Peace River Baptist Church where he served on the building committee. Terry will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Janet; daughters, Theresa (James) Nunn of Gloucester, VA, Lorraine (William) Horton of Sumter, SC, Amy (Troy) Snyder of Halifax, PA, and Cynthia Rowe of Punta Gorda, FL; two brothers Craig (Suzanne) Rowe of Bozeman, MT and Kent (Linda) Rowe of Downingtown, PA; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Terrys Life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 11:00am at the Peace River Baptist Church located at 478 Berry Street, Punta Gorda, Florida. Love donations can be made to Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation on Edgewater Road, Port Charlotte or to the Peace River Baptist Church building/renovation fund.
