Susan E. Nolte

Susan E. Nolte, 56, of Port Charlotte passed away January 13, 2007. She was born June 12, 1950 in Anderson, IN to Avis Boyd and Winnifred (Pugsley) Ford. Susan graduated from Ball State University, Muncie, IN in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She moved to Florida from La Pel, IN in 1973. She worked as a registered nurse at various places, including All Children’s Hospital and in-home health for the last 10 years. Susan was an avid outdoor person and enjoyed the beach, camping and taking cruises. Her greatest enjoyment was keeping up with her grandkids and their activities. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 18 years, Frederic Nolte, Jr.; daughter, Meagan (William) Arroyo of San Diego, CA; son, John (Amanda) Retz of Port Charlotte; brother, John (Jan) Ford of La Pel, IN; grandchildren, Christian Arroyo and Michael Retz; two nieces and two step-daughters. A celebration of Susan’s life will be 6:00 pm, Thursday, January 18 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
