Stephen Olson

Stephen Olson, 68, of Punta Gorda passed away May 7, 2006. He was born February 26, 1938 to Henry and Mary Olson. Stephen and his wife moved from Marshfield, Mass to Punta Gorda Isles in 2003 after retiring from the grocery business. He was of the Protestant faith and loved boating, Nascar, gardening, traveling with his wife and the Boston Red Sox. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 29 years, Jean M.; daughter Donna Marshall of Somerset, MA; sons David H. Olson of South Portland, ME, Robert A. Marshall of Sorrento, ME and Ronald E. Marshall of Marshfield, MA; brothers Thomas Olson of Weymouth, MA and James Olson of Penobscot, ME and seven grandchildren. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Cheryl Sgarzi. A memorial mass will be 10:00 am, Saturday, May 20, 2006 at St. Christine’s Catholic Church in Marshfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
