Stephen B. Asmutis

Stephen "Steve" B. Asmutis, 84, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL passed away October 9, 2011. He was born January 21, 1927. Steve served in the US Navy during WWII on the Island of Hawaii and on Wake Island in the South Pacific. He retired from The Portland Cement Association in Skokie, IL after 38 years of service in the field of research and development on cement products and applications. Steve decided to enjoy Florida his home state for 22 years. We who remain here send him on with much love and the best of memories.
