Stephanie A. Eaton

Stephanie Ann Eaton (Hankins) of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on October 5, 2020.

Born in Indianapolis, Stephanie was raised in Brownsburg, Indiana, and lived in Hendricks County, Indiana for many years.

Stephanie worked many years as a dental office manager for her husband, Virgil Eaton, DDS, in Brownsburg. After retirement, she moved to Charlotte County, Florida where she continued her education to become a Registered Nurse. She returned to work as an R.N. for Home Health Services of Charlotte and later volunteered as a hospice nurse for Tidewell Hospice.

Stephanie was an active member of American Legion Post #110 in Port Charlotte where she held various offices and volunteered for the Auxiliary.

She is survived by three brothers Larry Hankins, Michael Hankins (wife Sharon), and Kenneth Hankins; daughter JaneAnn Zaleski (Eaton, husband Ray); sons Steve Eaton (wife Lori), John Brunner (wife Marnie), Stephen Brunner (wife Maureen), and Douglas Brunner (wife Christina); and eleven grandchildren Justin Brunner, Kaitlin Stephens (Sanders), Adrian Brunner, Dillon Brunner, Colin Brunner, Evan Brunner, Michael Eaton, Ryan Eaton, Jamie Stanley (Zaleski), Dan Zaleski and Andrew Zaleski.

She was preceded in death by her sister Pamela Reeves (Hankins), father Clarence Hankins, mother Anna Hankins (Earl), husband Virgil Eaton, and sister Lisa Jones (Hankins).
