Sophia Lillian Joyce

S. Lillian Joyce, loving wife of Harry Joyce and mother of Douglas H. and David L Joyce, passed into the arms of the Lord on July 8, 2015 . The youngest of four children born to William and Anna Andruszko, Lillian was a shining star, a cheerleader graduating with honors from Camden High School and summa cum laude graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing. She went on to a distinguished career as a registered nurse, practicing in five states in areas of oral surgery, cardiac care ICU, family practice and hypertension clinic. Lillian was the matriarch of our beautiful family. Lillian was raised in the Catholic faith and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church while wintering in Punta Gorda, Florida. She is survived by her sons; Douglas and David, her grandchildren; Leland, Maddie, Elyse, Douglas Jr., Christopher, and Bethany and her sister, Mary. Lillian was a women of strong faith and character. A selfless, dedicated care giver, who put family first, loved life, and was always available for friends and family in need. A service in celebration of the life of S. Lillian Joyce will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church.
