Scott David Johnson On August 1, 2017, Scott passed away very unexpectedly. Scott was born on June 30, 1965 to Mary and Emmett Johnson in Minneapolis, MN and spent many years in Park Rapids, MN. After moving to Florida, Scott worked at the Oyster Bar in Punta Gorda, where he made lifelong friends and met his wife Kristy. After their marriage in November 1997, Scott worked for 84 Lumber for many years, and was an employee of Tibbetts Lumber when he passed. Although taken from us far too soon, Scott will always be loved and remembered by his family as a giving and loving husband, father, son and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kristy Johnson; children, Ben and Emma Johnson; mother, Mary Johnson; sister , Jean Craddock (Brad Craddock); and a brother, Mark (Anne Johnson). A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at Edgewater United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte, FL. Memorial donations can be made in Scott's name to the Ronald McDonald House.
