Santiago Caberto

Santiago Caberto, 87, of Punta Gorda passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. He was born November 11, 1924 to Pedro and Tibicia (Cabanillia) Caberto. He worked as a Physician before retiring. Santiago was a member of the American Legion in Texas, American Medical Association and Psychiatric Association. He was a member of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. Santiago is survived by his wife, Florentine;sister, Adelina of CA; son, Col. Steven Caberto, daughters, Sandra Hoppough, Sharon Kopko, Barbara Sutton and Kathleen Lemke; sons, George Drummond and John Drummond; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A service will be 11:00 am, Friday April 20, 2012 at Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be Alzheimer Association or Tidewell Hospice, Inc.
