Ruth L. Dugger

Ruth L. Dugger, 92, of Port Charlotte passed away February 28, 2006. She was born June 17, 1913 in White Hall, IL to the late Frank and Leola (Hudson) Lorton. Ruth moved to Port Charlotte in 1980 from Springfield, IL. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte, Women on Mission serving as State Officer, 4H and the Pryme Timers at First Baptist. She will be remembered for her sweet spirit and love for her Lord. Ruth will be greatly missed by her daughters Yolanda (John) Prehn Mueller of Pt. Charlotte and Yvonne (Bob) Etheredge of Dallas, TX; sisters Faye Goldacher of Sterling, IL and Wilma Duran of Post Falls, ID; grandchildren Laurel Prehn, Ted Prehn, Ian Etheredge, Allison Etheredge; great-grandchildren Andrew and Jonathan Prehn. The family will receive friends at 10:00 - 11:00 am, Saturday, March 4 with a celebration of Ruth’s life to follow at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Pt. Charlotte. Private burial at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations maybe made to First Baptist Church of Pt. Charlotte, 20035 Quesada Ave., Pt. Charlotte, FL 33952.
