Ruth Helen Hickey

Ruth Helen Hickey, 87, of North Port, FL passed away Sat. Oct. 29, 2011. She was born October 5, 1924 in Hempstead, NY to Herbert and Ada (Cusick) Matthews. Ruth moved from New York to North Port in 1986. She loved being a mother and grandmother who cherished her family very much. Ruth will be greatly missed by her daughters, Pat (Phillip) Hoover of North Port, Kay Hall of Port Charlotte and Colleen King of North Port; son, James (Linda) Hickey of North Port; sister, Elaine Moody of CA; grandchildren, CeCe, Kelly, Denise, Billy, John, Debbie, Kathleen, James, Kristen and Kaitlyn; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
