Ruth E. Oltmann

Ruth E. Oltmann, 81, of Punta Gorda passed away August 21, 2009. She was the daughter of George and Mae (Eager) Strickland, born December 2, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. Ruth moved from Bartonville, PA to Punta Gorda in 1973. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Faith Lutheran Ladies Guild, Prayer Chain Committee and Bible Study Group. Ruth enjoyed sewing, crafts and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Linda (George) Frantz of Punta Gorda; sons, Rick (Linda) Oltmann of Port Charlotte, Larry Oltmann of Punta Gorda and Steven (Yvonne) Oltmann of Saylorsburg, PA; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Faith Lutheran Church in Punta Gorda.
