Russell E. Cook

Russell E. Cook, 85, of Punta Gorda passed away April 8, 2006. He was born August 15, 1920 in Plymouth, Mass to Charles and Mabel (Martin) Cook. Russell served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was a retired salesman in the Food Industry and moved to Punta Gorda from Carver, Mass in 1990. He was a member of American Legion Post #103, Punta Gorda, VFW Post 5690 (Life Member), Port Charlotte American Cribbage Congress. Russell loved boating in his spare time. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 49 years, Beatrice; daughters Mary (Edgar) Murray of Plymouth, Mass; son James (Pauline) Cook of Whitinsville, Mass; brothers Ronald Cook of Plymouth, Mass and Charles (Geraldine) Cook of Carver, Mass; sister Thelma Lemoine of Lerinworth, KS; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
