Ross Gable

Ross Gable, 85, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away February 4, 2017. He was the son of Frank and Mary Gable, born January 30, 1932 in Scranton, PA. Ross served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked in management for Nabisco before retiring. Ross moved to Punta Gorda and with his son purchased "The Corner Store" in Deep Creek, FL. He attended Christ Community Church, Harbor Heights. Ross had a good sense of humor, fun loving and enjoyed talking to people wherever he went. Ross will be greatly missed by his wife of many years, Jeanine; sons, Brian (Liz) Gable and Scott (Chris) Gable; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Ross Gable; siblings, Bobby, Nancy and Wayne. A visitation will be from 4 to 6pm, Thursday, February 9, 2017 with a service to celebrate Ross' life at 5:30 p.m., at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
