Rose Aluisio

Rose Aluisio, 74, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away January 24, 2017. She was the only child of Arthur and Hedwig Cerveny, born on May 24, 1942 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Rose worked as the Office Manager for Hastings Electric and Hardware Company, Inc and a substitute teacher before retiring in 2007. She moved from Hastings-on-Hudson, NY to this area in 2007. Rose was a member of Platinum Point Yacht Club, Punta Gorda, FL and Fort Comfort Yacht Club in NY. She loved traveling on the seas whether on their boat called the "Sea Rose Again" or on cruise ships around the world. Rose will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years, Bruce Aluisio; daughters, Robin LoGiudice (Albert), Lisa Sanfilippo (Robert) and Debbie Kourakos (Sam); grandchildren, Lauren, Josh, Noelle, Robert, Jillian, Christopher, Nicole and Michael. A memorial service to celebrate Rose's life at 11am, Friday, January 27, 2017 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
