Rosalind "Lynne" Troll Cain lost her valiant fight with Parkinson's Disease on Nov. 25, 2022, in Punta Gorda, FL.
Lynne was born to the late Col. John F. and Jane Troll in Lakewood, N.J. Lynne led a fabled life, residing in Japan, Paraguay, France and Puerto Rico, as well as in many states. Lynne was fluent in Spanish, French, Italian, and German. Lynne discovered a life-long passion for ice skating at the tender age of 5. Lynne studied at both Ohio State University and the University of Maryland. Lynne was an accomplished artist, with a whimsical, colorful flair, who at one time owned a gallery in Key West, FL. She was even commissioned to paint personalized Christmas ornaments for the Philadelphia Philles! Lynne was also a successful sales associate for Redkin. Lynne loved Corvettes, and owned 9 of them.
Lynne was a devout Catholic, and was gifted with a beautiful smile and charming personality. Lynne was loved by everyone she met.
Lynne is survived by her husband and soulmate, Gerard (Jerry) Cain. Their love and affection outshone the brightest star in the sky. Lynne is also survived by her 2 beloved daughters, Deborah Ritterson and Kelly Marvain (Sean); her 3 cherished step-children, Lisa Cain (Glenn), Douglas Cain, and Kathleen Dastin; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Barbara Heacock, Jacqueline Parker, Karen Hyrowski (Tom), Joanne Troll and Nancy Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Lynne's family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers at Port Charlotte Nursing and Rehab Center, who lovingly cared for her.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in her memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
