Ronald K. Kennedy

Ronald K. Kennedy, 65, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011. He was born May 12, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA to Kenneth and Madeline (Donahue) Kennedy. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Ronald initially worked as a town civil engineer in Cheshire, CT and later, he devoted his career to real estate development in MA and CT. In 1999, he moved from Portland, CT to Punta Gorda. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Jill; sons, Graham of Charlotte, NC and Kevin of Austell, GA; daughter, Carolyn Mejia of AZ; brother, Keith of Easley, SC; grandchildren, Milo, Gustavo and Javier along with his beloved dog of 15 years, Maggy and a host of wonderful friends. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be to the Animal Welfare League, 4519 Drance, Port Charlotte, Fl 33980.
