Rolando V. Costa, Jr.

Rolando V. Costa, Jr., 62, of Port Charlotte passed away June 24, 2006. He was the son of Rolando DaCosta, Sr and Marie (Mediros) DaCosta, born August 23, 1943 in Portugal. Rolando came to Port Charlotte in 1991 from Fall River, MA and was the owner of Advantage Asphalt. He attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Rolando will be greatly missed by his daughters, Veronica Mulcahy and Fabia Costa, both of Fall River, MA; sisters, Mary Garcia of Assonet, MA and Ilda Pacheco of North Port; grandchildren Skyler and Hannah; and fiancé, Leonor Oliveira of Port Charlotte. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, June 29 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. The service in celebration of Rolando’s life will be at 1:00 Friday at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
