Roger W. Fenneman

Roger W. Fenneman, 78, of Punta Gorda passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2012. He was the son of Garland and Norma (Carr) Fenneman, born July 3, 1934 in Springfield, Ohio. Roger served in the US Air Force as a Captain for 11 years , then worked as a pilot for TWA retiring in 1992. He was a race coordinator with the United States Auto Club with the Indy 500 and assist to air boss with the Punta Gorda Air Show, but his passion and love for 12 1/2 years was the volunteer coordinator for the Punta Gorda Police Department. Roger will be greatly missed by his wife of 29 years, Diane; daughter, Shari Ann Shinn of Bemidi, MN; daughter-in-law, Laurie of Stocken, NJ; step-sons, Michael Lewis of Dexter, MI , Keith (Antonella) Lewis-Wood of Ridge, NJ and Greg (Terri) Lewis of Ann Arbor, MI; twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, J. Michael. A memorial service to celebrate Roger's life will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, Dec ember 5, 2012 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
