Roger L Bishop Sr

Roger L. Bishop, Sr. 72 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away April 26, 2019. He was born March 11, 1947 to parents Floyd and Nettie Bishop in Hamilton, OH. He moved to Florida when he was 13 years old. He owned a car lot in Orlando for several years. Roger proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and playing Texas holdem and was a lifetime member of VFW. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Kathleen; daughters, Dallas Lorraine (Chris) Duerr, Haley Bishop and Madison Bishop: sons, Robert (Amy) Barnes, Roger L Bishop, Jr., Shawn E. (Nicole) Bishop, and Morgan Bishop: brother, James (Rosemary) Bishop; grandchildren, Lauryn (Josh) Garriss, Shannon Duerr, Colton Bishop, Taylor Bishop, Veronica Toller, Jessica Toller, Brandon LaValley, Wesley Barnes, Baylee Barnes, Justin Barnes, Ashley Barnes and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Luke Bishop and daughter-in-law Beth Bishop. Private service will be held by the family.
