Roger J. Brooks

Roger J. Brooks, 75, of Port Charlotte passed away Monday, August 22, 2011. He was born December 8, 1935 in Canada to Jeanne Soucy and Dollaro Desreusseaux. Roger served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from Chrysler and moved to Port Charlotte from Michigan in 1993. He attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and was a member of the Port Charlotte Moose. Roger will be greatly missed by his wife of 6 years, Diane; daughter; Lynn (George) Hennard of Sterling Heights, MI; sons, Gerald (Deborah) Brooks of Battlecreek, MI and David (Lorie) Brooks of Attica, MI; sister, Anita (Gary) Cook of Ruskin, FL; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
