Roberta Lant

Roberta R. Lant of Saratoga Springs, NY and Punta Gorda, FL died March 4, 2009 at her Florida home with her loving husband, Jim, by her side. She was born in Saratoga Springs, NY, the daughter of the late Ray and Paola (Snyder) Driscoll. Roberta was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and a retired employee of Price Chopper Super Markets. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her seven grandchildren, and was looking forward to the arrival of her great grandchild due in September. Roberta will be greatly missed by her husband, James W. Lant; daughters Leslie (Jim) Simonian of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Lori (Ron) Cronk of Saratoga Springs, NY, Andrea Miller of Ocala, FL, and Jodi Lant Truett of Punta Gorda; son, James S. (Annie) Lant of Punta Gorda; grandchildren, Tyler Simonian, Courtney, Arien, and Zachary Cronk, Autumn and Abbi Miller, Jesse Lant, and Caleb Lewis; sisters, Marie (Thomas) Drake of Scottsdale, AZ and Margaret (Peg) Perrone of Myrtle Beach, SC; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank all her doctors, nurses, and staff at Charlotte Regional Medical Center; the EMS Service, and all her doctors in Saratoga Springs who cared for her.
