Robert W. Neal

Robert W. Neal, 91, of Punta Gorda passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012. He was the son of George and Lillian (Becker) Neal, born August 15, 1921 in Akron, Ohio. Robert served in the US Army and Air Force during WWII. He was the owner/operator of Bob's Coffee Shop formerly known as the Dairy Pleeze. Robert was a member of First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda. He will be remembered as a wonderful family man and loving husband and father. The family would like to thank the staff at Sarasota Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care they gave Robert. Robert will be greatly missed by his sons, George Neal and Kevin Neal and grandson, Robert Bartels. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Vivian and daughter, Nancy Neal-Bartels. A service to celebrate Robert's life will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda.
