Robert M. Brown

Robert Brown, 90, of Punta Gorda, FL formerly of Lake George, IN passed away April 7, 2015. He was the son of Burney and Marie Brown, born May 6, 1924 in Fort Wayne, IN. Robert served in the Army National Guard for 4 yrs, Ft. Wayne, IN. He worked for Dana Corporation then for Walker G. Mulligan, Inc and retired in 1986. Robert was a life member of Mizpah Shriners in Fort Wayne, IN and the Elks in Deep Creek. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Port Charlotte Moose. Robert enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, pool, flying planes and traveling with Angie including visiting with his family. Robert will be greatly missed by his significant other of 12 years, Angie Barber; daughters, Linda Brown, Diana(Scott Cammann) Brown, Debbie (Arley) Crumm; sons, Gene (Donna) Brown and Robert (Rhonda) Brown, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and step-daughters, Ann Marie, Susan and Carolee. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Phyllis Paton and Maxine Fisher. A memorial service will be held at later date at the Moose Lodge 2121. Inurnment will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc.
