Robert J. Westover

Robert J. Westover, 88, of Port Charlotte passed away February 15, 2010. He was the son of Clifford and Winifred (Greeno) Westover, born July 31, 1921, Belis Falls, VT. Robert served in the US Army during WWII and was a foreman with GM before retiring. He came to this area from Dearborn, Michigan in 1982. He was a member of Port Charlotte Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 110. Robert enjoyed going fishing, boating and horse racing. Robert will be greatly missed by his significant other, Twila Spencer; step-daughter, Patty Lixey of Port Charlotte; son, Robert L. Westover of Garden City, MI; grandchildren, Scott and Breana.
