Robert H. Cihlar

Robert H. "Bob" Cihlar, Sr., 83, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away March 4, 2016. He was the oldest of seven children to Harry and Louise Cihlar, born June 25, 1932 in Bayshore, N.Y. Bob served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Bob will be greatly missed by his wife of 56 years, Jackie Cihlar; children, Victoria (Keith) Kidwell, Robin Cihlar and Robert (Karen) Cihlar, Jr.; grandchildren, Jason Kidwell, Hannah Cihlar; great-grandchildren, April, Keith, Julian and Liberty; siblings, Joan Schmidt, Nancy Klempel, Eugene Cihlar, Kenneth Cihlar, Henry Kohl and Kathleen Kohl. He was preceded in death by his son, John Cihlar. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
