Robert G.”Bob” Lucchetti, 73, of Port Charlotte passed away April 4, 2007. He was born June 30, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Marie (Vlahos) Lucchetti. Bob moved to Florida in 1981 and worked for Charlotte County for 12 years. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. Bob’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 23 years, Pauline, daughter Marcia Lucchetti Huber of Loves Park, IL; son Robert (Dianna) Lucchetti of Port Charlotte; sister Claudette (Vern) Herbener; grandchildren Aaron and Anna Huber, Lauren and Bobby Lucchetti along with nieces, Venessa (Jerry) Lopatka, Valerie (Gerald) Heine and Victoria (Mike) Loperena and nephews, Vernon (Kathy) Herbener and Vance (Myrna) Herbener. Pauline’s children who were loved as his own: Mitzi (Dave) Doerr of Odessa, FL and Michelle (Pete) Melendez of Tampa; sons, Tim Ketchum of Port Charlotte, Terry Ketchum of Sarasota and Patrick Ketchum of Port Charlotte; grandchildren Kirsten Ortiz, Shaun Freeman, Trey Doerr, Mitchell Doerr, Davey Doerr, Cassidy Ketchum, Heather Parfitt and Emily Melendez and great-grandchildren Asia Melendez, Victoria Freeman, Issac Freeman, Kobie Doerr and Kory Doerr. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with a celebration of Bob’s life to follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Danny Kolenda officiating. Burial will be 11:30 am, Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Florida National Cemetery.
